Women In Construction (“WIC”) West Coast Conference is a one-of-a-kind conference designed to promote and advance women in all fields and positions within the construction industry and provide a forum for women to network, learn, educate, and share ideas.
According to the National Association of Women in Construction, construction related jobs account for approximately 66% of all jobs in the United States. As of 2022, the construction work force consisted of 89.1% men and 10.9% women. With women projected to account for a significant increase in total labor force growth from 2023 onward, women in the construction industry need to work together to increase the number of women entering the industry and to support the women already in it.
